Ballet + Motion Capture

For my Ballet 2 final project, I had the students work in motion capture. I choreographed a pirouette combination, taught it to the students, the students performed the combination in the mocap suit on the VCUarts soundstage, John Henry Blatter captured them with the Viacom motion capture system, and then Matt Wallin processed the data files and created skeletal animations of the dancers. From the animations, the students analyzed their performances.
